Laura is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
She has almost 20 years of experience working with adults presenting with a wide range of mental health concerns. Laura has practiced in diverse mental health settings including private psychology clinics and both inpatient and outpatient public mental health services.
Laura works with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, sleep problems and relationship concerns. Her approach is respectful, collaborative and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness-based therapies and more.
She combines clinical training and experience with a practical, empathetic approach to help clients better understand themselves, manage difficulties and make meaningful, lasting changes.

Laura’s Approach
Both empathetic and enthusiastic, Laura is deeply committed to understanding each person’s unique story and supporting them to lead more fulfilling, meaningful lives.
She places an emphasis on helping her clients to better understand themselves, implement positive change, achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life. Laura’s therapeutic style is authentic, respectful and compassionate.
Laura is highly experienced in the assessment and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders in adults. She also works with issues such as adjustment to major life events, anger and stress management, trauma, grief and loss, sleep problems and relationship concerns.
Laura works collaboratively with clients to set clear therapy goals, drawing on a broad range of evidence-based psychological treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Meta-Cognitive and Mindfulness-based approaches, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Schema Therapy, and Positive Psychology.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Laura continues to expand her skills and knowledge through advanced training and education.
